I made a free static QR Code Generator for anyone to use!
Yup! I coded some stuff and I created a small little web app that allows you to create as many free qr codes as needed. & nooo they definitely DO NOT expire, so no need to worry about a qr code suddenly not working.
I had read a few stories of people purchasing a qr code later for them to be told they had to pay a subscription to keep it active. One person spoke about buying hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise with the "expired" qr code and had to pay the $14/mo to keep it active.
The web application uses the public goqr.me api to generate the codes.

The QR code was invented in the automotive industry by the developer Denso Wave. Although the technology was patented, they decided to allow its use free of charge.
This free web application is a way for me to combat that unnecessary cost, and I also had a lot of fun coding and setting up the api.
How to Use the Application
The instructions are pretty straight forward and can also be seen when you reach qrapp (I know, not the best sounding name, but it works..lol).
Just enter the text or url you want to reference and click the generate button, then you can save the image and share!
